Trailervision is a revolutionary concept in filmmaking. It pioneers the movie trailer as a new medium. Trailers are fast, funny and entertaining in their own right and often better than the movies they advertize.
"Trailervision is an international cult phenomenon," said CNN. "Hilarious and riotous," said the Montreal Mirror. "Trailervision is the next step in cinematic evolution" said Yahoo.
Trailervision produces spoof trailers at www.trailervision.com and spoof ads at www.zapavision.com which have also been broadcast on TV internationally to critical acclaim. The sites also welcome contributors. Please email trailervision@elevatorfilms.com
Using an approach which has already made it a huge hit on the web, Trailervision will put a no holds barred, visually exciting, barrier-pushing, action-packed, Hollywood-bashing, movie-trailer at your desktop.
Based on the idea that the trailer is usually better than the movie, TRAILERVISION.COM, features trailers for fictional movies that don’t exist. The show has been called "blindingly fun", "the movie event of the minute" and "the next step in cinematic evolution."
Although the site is pay, Trailervision always maintains a growing quantity of free trailers.
The site went pay to offset massive bandwidth costs caused by high-traffic.
Originally a TV special, Trailervision, has exploded on the web, gaining a massive audience in the summer of 1999.
Trailervision has since branched off into feature film producing several documentaries, including "It's a Riot" and the hit film "Stupidity."
Trailervision has also produced a "best of" anthology called "Why Can't I be A Movie Star?"
